Last night dinner was really nice, I did not have a keto main, as nothing really took my fancy, I had Lasagne instead, I love their Lasagne and that is usually my go to when I go there, unless I go for lunch, then I have the keto hamburgers.... I wish they did them for dinner as well.
There desserts looked so yummy, and I was bloody tempted but instead I took some keto dessert home. It was the Keto Chocolate Hazelnut Cake NC 1.4g P 5.7g F 34.1g (Chocolate Hazelnut cheesecake on a Rich chocolaty base.
topped with chopped hazelnuts & more chocolate Gluten Free, SugarFree). It was so yummy and am glad I didn't succumb to the 'normal' dessert.
I also purchased some pork rinds to bring home, and a double chocolate fat bomb slab.....
I didn't like the double chocolate fat slab, it was just.... not me. I wish I had purchased the other flavour.
I was pretty damn proud of myself :).
Well this afternoon, we heard this glass smashing and lots of swearing and yelling and more smashing glass. David went outside to check it out and it was our neighbour telling some guy to leave, who obviously wasn't, so we rung the cops straight away and told them it was urgent, within a couple of minutes they were there and talking to some guy. He has lived there for years and never had any issues, so not sure what went down, but it certainly was not nice. Being in this town we live, it could be a number of things.... just hope this is the end of it, and just glad it was daytime and not nighttime, everything always sounds so much worse at night.
Anyway thats it from me for today, I am so glad we don't have junk food in the house, because right now it would be bloody tempting lol.

Feeling a little better....
Feeling a bit better, which is good as the twins turn 23 today, holy fark where did that time go. We are going out to dinner with Steph and Rob for her birthday tonight, we are going to Ciccio's which has a keto menu, yip a keto menu not just a couple of 'normal' meals adapted :). The chef there lost like 50 odd kilos on keto, so started adding it to the menu, and now they have a full keto menu as well as a 'normal' one. They have keto drinks, cakes, lunch and dinner menu. I wont be seeing Chris for a few weeks, he has just come back from Bali and loved it.
I was thinking that I am wondering if I am feeling crappy, could be cause of the pain med reduction...... did that last sentence make sense?
Looking forward to weigh in this Monday, hope the scales are still being nice then lol.
Anyway just a quick update, not much planned for the weekend, think it will be resting a lot, really want to get back into the gym next week, have missed it.....

Feeling Blah......
Last night I got sick, was hot and cold and just feeling like crap, was also freezing, it was cold I had the heater on in front of me, with a dressing gown and blankets trying to keep warm.
This morning have woken up a bit better, but still not 100%, so having a stay at home day and not doing much while trying to keep warm. Have a bit of a headache as well, but I watched the documentary 'The Truth About Carbs', was interesting, especially the parts about being able to eat bread frozen and then toasted straight from the freezer, and cooking and cooling potatoes then reheating them, and rice being cooked, and allowing to cool then reheating but has to be hot, all becomes resistant starch. This is not food I will have regularly but its another good option to have, will probably give the rice a miss, but the potatoes and toast will be a nice change every now and then. Thank you Lynda for the reminder to watch it, we watched the first bit a while ago, and forgot to go back to it.
Anyway thats it for today, not a lot happening, I am struggling a bit today, and am grateful I don't have any junk food in the house, as I am sure I would have eaten it. And its to cold to go out to the supermarket......

Cant believe how much better I am feeling..
Why do we do this, we eat well (in my case low carb), and cant believe how well I am feeling, just after 5 days, then wonder why I stop after a certain time and go back to sugary high carb foods and feel like crap, and forget how good I was feeling while eating low carb...... (hope that makes sense lol)
Anyway on a low carb facebook group, someone mentioned these crackers you can get from the supermarket, today I purchased some and just had some with cheese, and boy they are yummy. There are three flavours but they only had Cumin in our supermarket, the other 2 flavours are Nude and Parmesan. Click 'here' for the link to their website :) Each cracker is about 0.6 grams of carbs, and 9 crackers (a serve) has over 10 grams of protein.
These little crackers are just so yummy, not cheap at $5.99 for this little packet (which serves 4). They are probably about an inch or an inch & a half square, so not big but I love them though, and will be purchasing again. When I watch low carbers in the States, I cant believe the amount of low carb foods they have there.
Today was a gym free day, had a nail client who booked this morning, then still didn't turn up for her appointment. Ggggrrrrrr at first time clients :(. I was thinking of the pool tomorrow, but being only 2 degree's don't think I will be there, as the pool is outside, so will probably be a gym session instead.
Tonight for dinner, I made a low carb bacon and egg pie, I think David is going to his sisters for dinner, I don't want to go it is far to cold today and the weather is just horrible. I am already snuggled up in PJ's with the heater on and all cozy and it is only 5.15pm :).
Wow had a couple of small pieces of bacon and egg pie and forgot how filling it is.
Am really enjoying doing makeup again and playing around with the new stuff, its been ages since I enjoyed doing makeup.

Weigh in......
As I have only been doing low carb since Thursday, and weigh day is today, I am not going to do official weigh in till next Monday, and after a kilo and half gain the other night (while doing low carb), the scales have come down again and lower, so am happy, not sure why I had the gain but hey who cares it has come off and lower :).
I feel so much better not having the carbs, I don't why I stopped, but at least I maintained while eating not lower carb. I have the gym to thank for that. I am not setting any weight loss goals, am just focusing one day at a time, and if I stuff up, I am going to try not to dwell on it and just move on.
Went to the gym, met the physio today and we are changing things around a bit, the only cardio on the machines I will be doing is the hand cycling.... today I did my upper workout and managed to burn 998 active calories. I am also going to the gym or pool every 2nd day now, and will have a rest day in between. So tomorrow will be a gym free day and Wednesday weather dependent it might be the pool, I will have to go to the outside pool, as I can touch the bottom and I am only allowed to walk 10 lengths of the 50m pool. And no swimming, we need to see if the pool walking triggers of the achilles. If the weather is cold, I will do the gym and lower body.
For breakfast this morning I had scrambled eggs (with the double yolkers lol), and some chorizo sausage. well it was actually more lunch the breakfast. For dinner we are having some yummy sausages we purchased from the Farmers Market, with some Kumera Fries and veggies of some sort. That will probably me only 2 meals today, but will have a snack of some cheese or something :).
Anyway thats it from me for now - have a great day :)

Where have I been....
Busy Busy Busy......
Friday:
I didn't go to the gym, decided I would go every 2nd day, as when I woke up, it was just to sore....
Anyway the last of the makeup arrived, all I will need now is some setting powder in a few weeks. I got the Anastasia Prism palette (yet to try it), and I purchased a Kat Von D lip pencil to go with the Sugarpill Liquid Lippy from the other day.
Saturday:
We went to the Farmers Market and the Dutch Shop in Tauranga, I managed to avoid all the junk food, it was not easy..... We did buy some fruit - apples, oranges and tangelo's, we also did have a couple of dutch croquettes, which yes had crumbs on it, but if that was the worst that happened I was ok with that, I didn't have the bread bun :). Remember we are doing lower carb not Keto.
We also popped into my Dads, for a couple of hours that was nice, he lives about 25 minutes from Tauranga, and about 1 & 1/2 hours form Rotorua.
While in Tauranga we went to the Mount to Bayfair and popped into K & K. Last time I went there, the clothing was so tight, so didnt expect to find anything, was after a black skirt they had advertised, and went to take the largest size in, when she said it would be to big and it was went down two sizes, that was a nice NSV. Anyway got the black skirt, a dress and then David picked out this batwing top, it does not look good in the photo but looks much better on. David bought the lot for me, I am very lucky :).
I have enough clothes for summer now, so thats good, including the ones I purchased in Aussie :).
Well our TV decided to stop working last night, its been playing up a bit lately and we knew the time was coming to an end for it. Anyway we found a pretty good one at Noel Leeming in sale, they had one left so we purchased it online, and am picking it up Sunday.
Sunday:
Picked up the TV today. it is a 'smart' one so we have Netflix and Youtube on it, and don't need to go through the Apple TV anymore well for now, we can also hook the computer up to it but still need to work that one out. Also went to the Gypsy Fair, it was so so, in fact we saw it in 10 minutes lol.
Tomorrow I meet my physio at the gym, I really need some guidance as what I am doing is not working, maybe the pool - I don't know, we will see. I just want it fixed for our next holiday.
Anyway thats it, food has been going good 98% of the time, and must admit I am feeling so much more energetic, oh while at the Farmers Market we purchased Jumbo Free Range eggs and they all have double yolks lol. So breakfast was Free Range Bacon and Eggs yummmm and I didn't need to track a single bit of it :).

I am now a Sephora Black member, my free gift was a Sephora makeup remover water, which I will use as it is free but it is not cruelty free, so will not purchase in the future. I also got a sample size of Marc Jacobs mascara.

I have been looking for a black shirt for ages, finally found one, am also thinking of purchasing another one in a smaller size, as plus size black skirts are nearly impossible to find.
I might get the black one like this as well, as it is so comfortable.

It feels good.....
It feels good to be doing low carb again, no tracking and it is fairly easy, also we still had a lot of low carb stuff in the house like almond flour etc so we didn't need to fork out money for that.
Went to the gym this morning and did upper body, and took it really easy on the cardio equipment warming up, so far so good, the ankle is feeling ok :). I still managed to burn 842 calories and it was 19 degree's, now it is 21, woohoo we hit the twenty's. It is suppose to rain this afternoon, though it doesn't look like it at this stage.
For breakfast today I had scrambled eggs with some cheese in it and chorizo sausages - it didnt look appealing but it tasted bloody nice :)
Yesterday some makeup came from 'La Femme Beauty' and today some from 'Saphora' came, cant wait to try out the Fenty Beauty primer and foundation, heard really good things about it, and also got to love the bright eye shadows pallet from Huda Beauty, just perfect for the summer :).

I tried the Sugarpill liquid lip colour Trinket yesterday, it was so nice, I had also heard good things about the Wet n Wild Renegade mascara, tried that out yesterday as well, still on the fence on that one, I think it will take a lot to beat Too Faced Better than Sex mascara :).
Had lunch with LeeAnne, had poached eggs, bacon, mushrooms with a little avocado, tomato and left the spinach and most of the avocado. I really only like avocado in small doses. I have a bit of an upset tummy, think I am dehydrated, so trying to drink some more now and hopefully will feel better soon.
Anyway day 1 is on track, it should stay on track if for nothing else, because we don't have any high carb foods in the house....
Day has ended well, for dinner we had chicken stuffed with this mince thing, and tomatoes, cucumber, lettuce, and boiled eggs. Had 6 eggs today, as it just worked out that way, normally it will only be 2 eggs a day. And also feeling better after I got some more liquid into me :).
Oh and ankle is doing ok, a little tender but bearable for now, so hope to be at the gym tomorrow and doing lower workout :).

No Gym.... :(
I have to use my judgement with going to the gym until I see the physio next week. Today the achilles was still niggly, so made the decision not to go, I dont want to go through what happened last week to happen again, the pain was just not fun. I am seriously reconsidering the pool a few days a week.
Tomorrow, I am going grocery shopping and preparing to start lower carb, we don't have to much carb food in the house, so thats a bonus. I am not going to give up fruit, though I will limit it to two servings a day. Yesterday I said that Davids diabetes blood test came up higher, though it is not extreme, it goes to show that adding carbs in (yes they were increasing weekly, as we got more used to them), is not a good option for him. I know for him it is going to be hard to choose what he cooks for dinner etc, just for the fact he does not research it and rely's on me for suggestions all the time, which can become frustrating at times. And that frustrates the hell our of me.........
Thursday I am meeting LeeAnne for lunch, will be good to catch up..... am feeling a bit blah the last couple of days, I think not going to the gym has something to do with it, but I need to remember this is just a glitch.....
Anyway a new day tomorrow, tonight I am going to watch some youtubes to get some ideas for lower carb foods :).

Am still alive and kicking.....
Yip am here first of weigh in had a 1.5 kilos loss this week, due to the weekend going belly up, we had to deal with some stuff on Friday midnight, which meant I never really slept Friday night, early Saturday morning, which meant food was kinda whatever we could find.....as it was a little stressful. Though I didn't gain from Fridays weigh in, so that is a bonus for me :). Speaking of weigh ins and food etc, David did a diabetes blood test and his levels have gone up, so we have decided to go lower carb again, wont be keto, but will try and keep our carb count to about 50 or under.
Gym: Since Thursday's workout, there has been no gym, my achilles was just to sore all weekend. So after discussing with my physio, she suggested for me to take a few days break, so back into it tomorrow, but am going to be a lot more careful. Any sign of pain and I will stop...... I was going to go today but decided seeing as the dogs were at the groomers, I would rearrange the lounge into the summer setting, so I moved some furniture around etc, not having the dogs here is so much easier they love to bark at the vacuum cleaner and just get in the way.
I also cleaned out the nail room and am going to do the spare room as well maybe tomorrow, as I have no clients tomorrow. In Aussie, I enjoyed getting back into makeup again, so today I did a small order of some stuff from Sephora and La Femme Beauty, will do a little haul when I get the stuff. I mentioned a while ago, I was trialling the "Alpha H" skincare, I still love it and it is going to become my daily skincare now. Oh and what is even more exciting is that we are getting a Mecca Maxima in the Mount, that will be exciting, I love the brands they have.
Here we have 2 nicely little groomed puppies :)
And that is it for now..... hope to be back to daily updates again from tomorrow :)

Ok things didn't quite go to plan....
I overdid the gym yesterday, last night my achilles was in so much pain and spasming for hours. OMG it was so sore, so I now need to be careful when doing cardio (lesson learnt). I did the bike/elliptical/water wheel/rower,squats and swings with the kettle bell. I didn't do any treadmill/stepups/lunges so thought I would be fine, have to admit, I ended with the bike and the last 5 or so minutes it started niggling, I probably should have stopped there, but I didn't. Anyway after all that, it is still niggly this morning, so am passing on the gym today, might do some core exercises from home later today.
Then it was David's night to cook as I had clients, and we ended up getting Hell Pizza, I did choose the skinny stretched base, and had some chicken tenders whoops and the scales are showing a 500 gram gain double whoops. So basically the day didn't end that well, but back onto it today again, but am still 1.5 Kilos down from Monday, I can live with that for now anyway :).
Thats me for now, not sure if I will be back today, the day doesn't consist of much except nails, and trying to finish the aussie video before I forget about it and it just sits there for ever like the one from 2 years ago is :)

And I did it........
I lost the 2 kilo gain from the binge I had last weekend. Am feeling bloody proud, amazing what some determination can do :).
Went to the gym this morning and burnt 1088 active calories, todays workout was cardio and I pushed myself as I had been getting a bit slack on the cardio side of things, it felt bloody good and here is what I looked like afterwards. I was knackered....
And we have another day of sunshine, I am sitting outside having my lunch and it feels so nice..... I really do love Spring.
There you go another boring day in the land of me....... I am sure one day it will get a bit more exciting lol.

Down down down...
Yes those scales have me at a kilo down now from Monday, its amazing what just a couple of days back on track can do after a binge.... Official weigh in day is Monday :).
Not a lot else has happened, its a gym free day today, did vacuuming changed sheets, washing and all the other boring things housework is. My achilles has played up a bit today, I have not rested it as much, so going to rest it now for the rest of the day. Dinner is pretty much done, washing is all dried and folded and put away. I find it bazaar when I see people who wash and then just dump it in a corner till a later date to fold, I think that if you spend 10 minutes folding it, it is done and you can forget about it. I just don't get how people can leave it to pile up for days and days, and then they go looking through the pile too find clean clothes lol.
And OMG I am starting to think that we might be actually starting Spring, in the sun it is so nice and warm and we have 17 degrees at 4pm.... just wow 19 degrees on Friday lol
And it is still fine here for the rest of the week, and hopefully the weather forecast will be wrong when it is suppose to rain next week.
So there we have it, another hopefully successful day, (I always struggle in the evenings, I have got into such a habit of eating after dinner, it is hard to break). Thank god summer fruit wont be to far away, give me a chip of strawberries any day. Oh and it was nice to see telegraph cucumbers for only $2.99, tomatoes down to $8.99 a kilo, and lettuce down to just under $2.00 each. But if I lived at the Gold Coast, they would be a hell of a lot less still.......
Taking one day at a time........ :)

And they are coming down....
One day on track and the scales have moved down by 600 grams, how did I go yesterday, I wont lie, come evening I struggled but I stayed within points and for that I am happy.
Onto today, went to the gym and did a core/lower body workout and I hated it, I really dont enjoy core workouts and thats only because it is bloody hard - but each time it will get easier (I hope), I did manage to burn 890 active calories in todays session.
Todays breakfast was another protein shake, and lunch will be a salad sandwich, which I am enjoying at the moment, or maybe some ham on toast with soup. Its nearly 1pm so best I go and sort it out soon I suppose.
With the anti-inflammatory working now, and resting the achilles, the pain is reduced heaps, I can still feel it if I step the wrong way, or put to much weight on it, but it is feeling a hell of a lot better than a couple of days ago.
Anyway back later, going to make some lunch, oh and Day 4 I think now in a row we have had sun and today is 15 degree's, come Friday we are expecting 17 degrees.....yippee. I am sure this weather is also having a positive on my outlook at life, whats the bet in about 4 weeks I will be moaning it is to bloody hot lol.

How tooooooo........
How to gain 2 kilos in 4 days, sit on my arse and do nothing, except eat junk food..... yip I succeeded at that quite easy.... but you know what a new day begins, a new week begins and I am bloody going to do this - forget the past and focus on the future, 1 day at a time :).
Day 3 of sunshine, and it is still looking good for the week....... am loving this time of the year in the sun, not hot enough to get burnt, but nice enough to get some slight colour. Well actually very rarely do I go red and burn, I usually go straight olive.
This morning consisted of a protein shake after the gym, which came in at 6 points, I still don't get how a banana is 0 points, but the moment you put it in a shake it becomes 3 points. But whatever.... I suppose lol
Went to the gym and burnt 929 Calories, did upper body, met my physio there and we made some adjustments for the lower body, rather than working on legs for the next 2 weeks, the lower body will change to core work, and trust me I need to work on that. Then I see her again in 2 weeks and see how it goes. She has given me some very gentle exercises to start strengthening the achilles again. And I promised her I would not do anything to aggravate in the mean time. :).
Lunch was a ham salad sandwich, 11 points, and it very yummy. I used Low Carb bread..... also had an apple and some pineapple.
Dinner is going to be fish and some kumera fries and not sure what else at this stage. Will try and remember to take a photo of it. Looks like dinner will come in about 16 points.
I also had 4 crackers and some soup, so have had to use a couple of my exercise points but thats ok, I have earnt 30 fit points today, so using a couple will be fine :).
Thats me for today, I am sure I will have a snack or something tonight. So far day 1 is well on track and I have no temptation in the house so I know I will be ok :).

Sun again and decision made......
Yes we had sun again today, 2 days in a row - just felt amazing, sitting out there and getting the Vitamin D. The weather forecast is still for no rain for the next 7 days, but I am not going to get to excited yet, as we all know that the weather forecast is not something to believe until the day. But it did feel nice sitting out in the sun, though the wind was still a bit chilly, all that was missing is the ocean :).
Ok on too food and what plan we well me more than we have decided, I have decided to do weight watchers and stick with it, (I had already paid for 2 more months), basically cut out junk food. Hopefully with the warmer weather, means that the price of tomatoes/cucumbers/salad stuff etc will become cheaper, it makes it so much easier to watch my food in the summer, cause salads have a huge part with meals in the summer as well as BBQ's. And though I like the easiness of lower carb, it is just not strict enough for me, for where I am now, I can still overeat etc... maybe once I have lost some more weight and feel confident with my eating and got my portion size back under control, then I will relook at low carb, this maybe after the two months I have already paid for WW.
Now saying all that, I am still not going to eat a lot of high carb foods, like rice, pasta, potatoes, sugar, high carb fruit, though I am going to finish of my bananas, weather I continue with those in my protein drink I will decide when I have finished them off, and might look at adding berries instead of bananas. Thank god strawberries are in season soon :). I have lower carb bread to finish off, and might switch back to paleo bread after that.
So there we have it, tomorrow is my offical weigh in, and will keep it a Monday, this will control my eating over the weekend, knowing I am weighing in each Monday. I have gained weight since I am back from holiday, I used the old excuse well I am not starting till Monday so I can eat whatever I want till then..... yes stupid way to think, but I know a lot of us can relate to this way of thinking.
Am meeting the physio tomorrow at the gym, so not sure what the exercise plan will be, weather it be back at the pool once or twice a week or what, so once I have spoken to her tomorrow I will know more about what the exercise plan will be.

OMG we have SUN!!!!!
Yes we have sun, and no rain forecast for a week.... I dont believe it, it is so nice to be sitting outside on the deck, getting some Vitamin D, listening to Joan Jett on Spotify, am loving this playlist, makes me feel young :). It is a little windy, but where I am sitting the wind is partially blocked.
I really need to get my head around on how I am going to get my eating under control, well not really under control, more on what way I am going to go with food, and just stick with it, I have to make up my mind this weekend, so I can have a start date on Monday, David and I will discuss what is the best option for both if us, I am not going to give up. Oh thats right, my blood pressure was down a little, so we have reduced the morning methadone, now only on 1/2 a tablet at night, which will be reduced in 4 weeks, that will be one down and ?? to go :).
I need to keep my goal of moving to Aussie in my mind, cause I want to be off all my meds (pain and blood pressure meds), by the time we go. I need to be 100% healthy, ok I will settle for 95% healthy. The one thing I miss the most, is the sound of the waves, waking up to them is just amazing.
No gym this weekend, as physio wants me to rest up my foot, this include no extra walking, I must admit it is feeling a little better already. Though when I walk on it more than just to the loo it starts playing up, I think we will be starting back at the pool next week, walking in water (not aqua jogging), she wants me to be able to touch the bottom. That means it is the outside pool and that is so much colder than the indoor..... suppose the good news is I will get a bit of a suntan :).
This weekend, consists of sitting round alot, resting and elevating the foot, was suppose to do a set of nails today, but this has changed till tomorrow now :).
Thats it from me, catch you later :)

I am a little worried.... whoops forgot to publish yesterdays post
Thursday:
I am a little concerned about my achilles, the pain is just continuous, going to the doctor tomorrow, but from what I read, there is not a lot that can be done to make the recovery quicker.... It seems to be a long slow process, this does not mean I am going to quit the gym, I am not, I am still going to go, but just making sure I don't do anything to aggravate it. So no step-ups or treadmill for now, everything else I think will be fine. But I am seriously considering the pool again, will speak to my physio about it on Monday when I meet with her.
Anyway today was a cardio day at the gym, did elliptical, bike, and water wheel. I then did some squat and swings with the kettle bell, gave the lunges a miss, it was just to painful and also gave the step-ups a miss as well, again just to sore. I am doing lots of stretching with it as well, and will see what else I can possibly do to help it on Monday when I see the physio. I am not going to let this get me down.
I am loving the new motivation for nails again, am enjoying doing them on clients and practicing again. Lets hope it lasts :).
Have not done a lot today, apart from gym and clients, did burn 969 active calories while at the gym :)
Friday:
Been to the Doctor and as I thought, there is not a lot that can be done for the Achilles tendonitis, he has started me on anti-inflammatory meds and go from there, if this doesn't help, then we may look at a moon boot. Also spoke briefly with my physio and we will talk about going back to the pool and walking in the water, where I can touch the bottom, unlike aqua jogging.
No gym today, as had the doctor and then have clients today, and also have a set of nails to do tomorrow, David is doing overtime on Saturdays for the next few weeks again. Still not sure on which way I am going to head for my food. I know when I do decide, I need to stick with it and not change my mind every other week. But my head is leaning towards lower carb, just for the fact there is no tracking and I felt so good when I did it properly last time.
Cant believe we have been back from holiday 1 week already, I am so missing the Gold Coast, but I do know that we will back next year and also know that we are going to move over there at some stage. It will be scary but it will also be amazing as well, I do know it will happen, just don't know when, but I am ok with that for now :).

Another day another gym session....
Upper body today at the gym, and again really struggled, I cant believe how much fitness I have lost in 3 weeks. Tomorrow is my gym free day, and start back at nails again tomorrow.
I feel like I have this new energy for nails again, possibly cause I had a holiday, also possibly cause I am looking at doing nails when we make the move, be it my own business again or maybe working in a salon. So the more I learn here in NZ, the better it will be for when we move.
Food is doing my head in again, deciding should I stay with WW or should I do lower carb or should I do ????. I hate tracking food, thats where I love lower carb, but I don't like the higher fat in lower carb and so it goes on and on in my head.... so for now I am just taking a step back and going to focus on the gym etc for the next few days and then rethink it all. One thing I do know is that I need to keep busy throughout the day, for me boredom is a trigger to food, today I have been busy and my food has been 100% on track. It feels good..... :)

Changed the blog around a bit....
I went to the gym this morning, and boy it was so bloody hard, I didn't even finish the full workout, more because the achilles was so sore, doing the step ups etc. Will talk to the GP when I visit him on Friday, also hoping the blood pressure will have come down, I am so close to finishing one of the pain meds I am on, I just want it done.
I changed things around on the blog a bit, decided to take the emphasis off the exercise/weight loss and am going to make it back into an all-round blog again. Don't get me wrong, the healthy lifestyle is still a top priority, it has to be for when we move to Aussie.
Anyway just a quick update today :)

Well where do I begin.......
Holiday:
The holiday was amazing, the weather perfect and it couldn't have been more relaxing. People ask us why we keep going back to the Gold Coast, we go because we love it and it is home away from home, the weather is perfect, the people are friendly, the petrol is cheap, and when we go, it feels just right. We still would like to visit Melbourne one day but that can wait. We now go and visit the less commercialised places and throughly enjoy finding new places to visit. There is so much to see and so much to do there, and there is so much more we want to see.
Our next holiday is semi planned already, and yes back to the Gold Coast for 3 weeks in about June/July next year. After this holiday, we are seriously going to consider moving there, once my father goes, for now I want to be nearer to him, then there is nothing else keeping us here really. Yes the kids are here in NZ, but lets face it Aussie is just a skip and jump, (ok a 3 hour flight), from New Zealand, and with FaceTime etc, we can still keep in touch. And the kids will be doing their own thing...... We spoke to a a few people in regards to purchasing apartments over there and the extra costs etc, in reality, though an apartment would be nice, we do feel a house would be better, we wont get the views but hey if we are within a 10 minute drive from the beach I will be happy. We are also thinking a nice bigger 2 bedroom house would be nice or maybe a 3 bedroom, in the meantime, we will start looking at whats available and what cost, and also what we need to do for jobs etc. Though from what I have read it seems pretty simple but before we do the big move we want to make sure all the t's are crossed and i's dotted. Super is a different story as in Aussie it is asset/savings tested, whereas in New Zealand it doesn't matter what income/assets you have, but we have a few years before we need to worry about that, but agin that will all depend on when dad goes. It may sound morbid saying that we are waiting for dad to go, but hey he is old and people die as they get older, and it will be nice to know everything we need to know before hand so when the time comes we are all prepared and educated and can just move. If I am still enjoying nails, that would be something I would consider doing over there.
OMG clothes are dirt cheap over there for just casual stuff, like T-Shirts $4.00, they will be excellent for the gym and if they only last 3 months for that price who cares, long sleeved T-Shirst only $3.00, I managed to get some cheap workout pants (legit workout pants lol), for $10 in sale. I did purchase a few really nice dresses, some more converse shoes, some jewellery, makeup and think thats about all. Will put some videos up of the things we did over the next week or two.
Food wise over there, I didn't track or even think about what I was eating, I did eat Krsipy Creme donuts (which I had been looking forward to for months, we dont have them in Rotorua), but was disappointed, didn't really enjoy it as much this time round. In fact I found most of the sweet stuff I tried I no longer enjoyed really. Exercise at the apartment gym - was a utter disaster, I didnt do anything at the gym and only did 1 swim. But we did do some walking etc, though my achilles played havoc with my walking, I say achilles but it could also be chronic pain, but whatever it is, it put a damper on things. I need to get it sorted before the next holiday, due to see the doctor this Friday. The saddest thing was that I could not even walk in the sand to the water, it was just to painful and it had me in tears a few times. I managed to gain 650 grams over the two weeks, so must admit, I was pretty stoked it was only that, as I really had no idea how I had gone.
Food over there is so cheap, hell strawberries were only $1 a chip and OMG they were delicious and passionfruit was just to die for, so tasty unlike what we get here. If you shop around, makeup and chemist products are so so cheap.... petrol is about 80 cents cheaper a litre.
Now onto the here and now....
Exercise and Food:
Starting back at the gym and Weight Watchers tomorrow. We have approx 45 weeks till our next holiday, yes I am already counting down the weeks/days and I really want to lose minimum 30 kilos by then. I am really going to focus on my food as that is what is letting me down a lot, the gym will be 5 days a week. As Spring is now here, hopefully the weather will be warmer soon, it was nice to have 2 days of sunshine when we got back but today it is raining, so water will be easier to drink soon, but again in the meantime, it is another thing I will need to work on.
Nails:
I need to get my motivation back for nails, with all the crap weather we had over the previous weeks before the holiday, I got in a real downer. But again hopefully with the better weather we hope to have soon, the motivation will return, and if nothing else, I need to use this time, to practice and educate myself as much as I can, so I can have an option of doing nails when we move.
Anyway think thats about it for now, here are just some photos of the holiday, videos will come soon (most of it was vidoes). First of the handbags I got and the wallet.

Just a few photos, I have mainly videos which I will edit this week sometime. Oh and I am thinking I might look at doing more vlogging rather than blogging, once I get myself organised. If I do, I will upload the following day, so if I vlog tomorrow, that will be updated on the Tuesday...... I might even do that with blogging as well. So there may not be a post tomorrow :).
Anyway enough waffling for now :)
