Day 25 & 26 on WW

FRIDAY & SATURDAY:

Being a day late with posting has out me out of kilter...... this should have been posted yesterday, so combining them as there is not much to report.

I have gone of the rails since Friday - it started with chocolate, which I didn't even enjoy - in fact it made me sick, but that didn't stop me from having potato chips, and KFC for dinner. Had I stopped there I might have been ok. But had left over KFC on Saturday, this led too a couple of hot cross buns and a pie and a couple of ice-creams as my throat started getting sore.

Friday I didn't go to the gym, I decided to do a decent clean, you know the cleaning out of the fridge, wipe down all the kitchen cupboard doors, dusting and so much more, ended up doing 15000 steps that day, this did play havoc with my arm/wrist, but it was bugging the shit out of me.

I am going to try my best to get back on track today (Sunday), though I am sure the scales wont be showing a loss this week. I have woken up with a sore throat today and just feeling a bit crappy. I am planning to go for a walk maybe later today. Or may do some exercise at home with the stepper etc...

So there you have it.....

Cross fingers today goes better, if nothing else I am at least going to try and track.

Day 23 & 24 on WW - whoops forgot to post this yesterday

WEDNESDAY:

Well another week on WW has begun, I am stoked I lost another kilo last weigh in, 7 Kilos in 3 weeks is bloody awesome :).

BUT a new week has begun, again I will be stoked with any loss again next weigh in, these bigger weigh in's have to slow down at some stage. What I am happy about is that my portion sizes are much better in control, and it feels good. I am starting to feel a little confident that when it comes to surgery day, for the following 2 - 4 weeks when I am one armed and not allowed to lift anything, my portion sizes will be ok, It might even be some WW meals for those weeks. I will be happy to maintain for those few weeks. I am not sure how long I will be out of the gym for, could be anything from 6 weeks to 12 weeks, depends on the type of surgery I will be having and how the tendons heal.

THURSDAY:

Well last night ended disastrously, I ate whatever I could find - even though it wasn't junk food as such, it was higher point foods - so today I am planning on a lower point day. I have chicken breast out for lunch, will have that with a cucumber and tomato salad, and do the chicken in the air-fryer with some spices. For breakfast I will do some boiled eggs, and dinner not to sure yet. I usually eat breakfast about 11am (after the gym), and lunch about 2 or 3pm (I dont always have lunch, depends on what I have had for breakfast, or what time breakfast is).

What made me eat last night, David and I had a debate, which caused me not to talk to him, so what does an emotional eater do eat of course. I am glad I just didn't have chocolate/biscuits etc in the house.

Went to the gym, even though I tried to think of every excuse not to go, I am proud I went, I think between the binge last night, the stress with David, the weather, even though we need the rain really bad, I just felt like spending the day in bed all day lol.

Anyway am home now, showered and it is already 11.30am and have not had breakfast yet, so best I go and put the eggs on :).

Tuesday 26 March 2019

Day 21 & 22 on WW & Weigh In.

MONDAY:

Today has been a good day, loved the gym, am up to 20 minutes each on the bike and treadmill, and did some lower body machines. I upped the speed on the treadmill and want to get it to about 5.5/6 kms an hour, not sure what my goal for the incline is yet.

I cant believe how much better I feel, it is amazing that only after 3 weeks back at the gym, what a huge difference it makes, oh and the 6 kilos I have lost :).

I must admit I am a little nervous of the weigh in tomorrow, though I am sure 99% that I have lost, you just never know :).

TUESDAY:

Yippee another loss - 1 kilo down this week, so 7 kilos in 3 weeks, and I made my first mini goal - from now on my mini goals are just going to be in 5 kilo lots, anything else seems to daunting :). Slowly getting rid of the gain I had.

Gym day today, added the elliptical in again, I hate it so much, but did a few minutes. I think on Thursday with the treadmill, will up the speed a little. I still cant believe what a difference the gym and weight-loss has made, my back is no longer sore, walking is so much easier, putting shoes and socks on is easier - and I could go on :).

Steph maybe moving home in a few days, where they are living is a nightmare with a lady on P, living at the front house, the sooner they get out the better. Think all 3 of them are moving back to their homes, till they can find another flat/house or something.

Anyway thats its for now, catch you all in a couple of days :).

Sunday 24 March 2019

Day 19 & 20 on WW

SATURDAY:

Where did today go, my wrist/hand is playing up something chronic, and have no idea why it has got so much worse in a matter of hours. I am really hoping the surgery is not months after the specialist appointment. It has got colder the last few days, so that may have something to do with it.

Made a WW Chicken Strogonoff for dinner, was pretty nice, had that with garlic bread, yesterdays food was a bit high in carbs, but not to worried as the majority of the days, the carb count is very low on WW.
Today we had some rain, was really nice :)

SUNDAY:

It is still raining today, we really need this rain, after the long warm summer we had. We are nearly at the end of March and we can still outside at night, without freezing our butt off.

I am getting itchy feet and want to move again now, and not wait, though I know financially now is not the right time, the beach move will happen, I just have got to wait :). The good thing is if we wait till we retire,, we are not limited on where we can move too, it can be anywhere in NZ or Aussie :).

This morning we had banana pancakes for breakfast with lovely crunchy bacon done in the air-fryer, not the pancakes in the air-fryer but the bacon :).

For lunch it will be left over Chicken Strogonoff and not sure about dinner yet.

Anyway thats it, catch you all on Tuesday (weigh in day), any loss will be a good one, with 6 kilos in 2 weeks, I am not expecting a huge loss, so will be happy with anything over 100 grams, though my first goal is only 900 grams away - but think I might be pushing that this weigh in :)

Have a great Sunday all, well whats left of it :)

Friday 22 March 2019

Day 17 & 18 on WW...

THURSDAY:

Today was a gym day, am up to 20 minutes on the treadmill and 20 minutes on the bike, also did a couple lower body machines :). I am going to stay on 20 minutes on the bike and treadmill and focus on getting speed up and upping the interval training on the bike. I will do this for a couple of weeks and go from there :) - oh and the best bit, my achilles is not playing up.

This afternoon I have an old school friend coming for the night, with her partner, who lives in Holland. He comes over every summer and spends time here in NZ, and she goes over there in our winter. I have known Michelle since I was 5 years old, we both started school the same day and have remained really good friends since then, even if we dont see each other for a year or two, it is one of those friendships that no matter the time apart, it feels like only yesterday when we last spoke :)

FRIDAY:

Had a really lovely night with Michelle and Tom, we had not caught up for a couple of years, and I stuck to my WW plan and stayed on track, had a BBQ for dinner, so was pretty easy to stay in points - felt good :).

After they left this morning, I went to the gym, felt good, though it was bloody hot in there. My arm started causing a bit of pain on the bike, but only had 5 minutes to go so pushed myself, not sure if that was the right thing to do or not, but have 2 days off now from the gym, and only one client this afternoon, so can rest and splint it up all weekend. Only 18 or 19 more sleeps till my specialist appointment - am really hoping the surgery wont be too much after that but who knows.....

Not sure how weigh in will go next week, I am 99.9% sure it will be a loss, but after 2 good weigh ins, I am expecting that it will be small, I get so tempted to weigh in between, but am not going too, the numbers play with my head too much.

Anyway thats it for now, catch you all in a couple of days :).

Wednesday 20 March 2019

Day 15 & 16 on WW & Week 2 Weigh In....

TUESDAY:

A new week begins, this week I weighed in and lost 1.6 Kilos, so total 6 Kilos in 2 weeks, am bloody stoked :). My goal is to lose another 900 grams in 3 weeks, should be able to do that :). If you had looked at the side bar, you would have seen the update yesterday :).

A gym day today, did the bike and treadmill. Am up to 20 minutes on the bike, doing interval training and 16 minutes on the treadmill. Am aiming for 20 minutes on the treadmill and 30 minutes on the bike for now, plus every second visit I do some lower body, but only with the machines :).

Today I have struggled with food, have managed to keep within my points just.....

WEDNESDAY:

Today is main housework day, so no gym. I cant believe how much easier it is, cause of going to the gym and getting a bit fitter.

Not much else to report today, just resting the hand, as it is bloody sore today - not sure if the ring finger is going, cause it is playing up and having trouble moving it like the middle finger when it happened.

So on that note will sign off and catch you all on Friday :)

Monday 18 March 2019

Day 13 & 14 on WW

SUNDAY:

I think most of New Zealand is still in shock, with the terrorist attack, I also think most of us never thought New Zealand would need to worry about a terrorist attack. We watched it unfold on CNN as they had much better coverage than any of the New Zealand channel's. It is heart breaking, and poor Christchurch has to deal with another major incident.

Yesterday was mum's anniversary of her death, as the time of 4.03pm came round, I looked back and was thinking about how I held her hand as she passed. My dad and I were in the room at the time, though it has been 14 years, every year this time, it seems like only yesterday, I remember the moment so clear still, and felt so privileged I was there and able to hold her hand as she went.

We really didn't do much today, travelling in a car any distance, triggers of huge pain spikes in my hand/wrist, I did some nail practice when I started to get the munchies lol.

Nice to be back on track, am tempted to weigh in but will wait till Tuesday (offical weigh day), not expecting a huge loss, after last weeks weigh in, will be pleased with anything over 500 grams. I have a first small goal to lose another 2.5 Kilos before my first specialist appointment in 3 weeks on Wednesday. Then depending on how long till surgery, will depend on my next mini goal, every gram lost between now and surgery is going to be a positive.

MONDAY:

Today is a gym day again..... Did the bike, treadmill, elliptical (though only a couple of minutes), and lower body workout on a couple of machines.  Already I am noticing a huge difference in my fitness and general health. My back is not nearly as sore, am able to push myself further, everything is getting easier, I have had to move the seat one notch forward again, after having to move it two notches back.

Today I have one client, will be glad when thats done as my hand is getting bloody sore. It seems doing clients, triggers it off.

Planned my days meals last night, think I might do that most of the time, was nice to wake up and know exactly what I was eating today :).

Today is well on track, weigh in tomorrow, crossing fingers for a loss 500 grams or more :).

Saturday 16 March 2019

Day 11, & 12 on WW

FRIDAY DAY 11:

First of last night (Thursday) turned into a disaster food wise...... I am not going to dwell on it, it's happened and can't change it, no excuses - so onto today :).

Today was another gym day - added the elliptical in for just 2 minutes. Got to watch some more Mama Mia on Netflix lol. Am now doing 16 minutes on both the treadmill and bike, on the bike I do interval training, on the treadmill I just go slow and easy, the good thing is my achilles issue does not seem to be rearing it's ugly head, so thats a bonus, but hence why I am taking it slow and easy on the treadmill. Though once I get to 20 minutes I will start increasing the speed and incline :).

David is home again today, we normally have takeaways on Friday, but that happened last night, so tonight will be the chicken breasts/sweetcorn for dinner.

Have 1 client today - it feels so weird only working 1 - 2 clients a day max, normally only one. I have had to turn so many new people down, but I cant accept new people when I really dont know how long I will be off for with surgery, I am saying 2 weeks, and then hopefully can go back to doing 1 client a day, but that could be optimistic.

Ended up  doing 2 clients today... day as ended well and within points :).

My thoughts are with those that have lost loved ones in the terrorist attack in Christchurch today. A sad day for New Zealand and those especially in the Muslim community.

SATURDAY DAY 12:

Today had 1 client, Whoops didn't come back and report anything - not a lot happened, David's sister popped in for a few hours this afternoon.

Apart from that not much else to report :)

Thursday 14 March 2019

Day 9 & 10 on WW....

WEDNESDAY:

Am still on a high from the loss this week... now onto a new week, focusing one meal at a time.

No gym today as I did the big houseclean and also did some nails. Planning to go tomorrow. My hand/wrist is pretty sore again today, not really sure what can be causing it, but am not liking it. I was tempted to have takeouts tonight, but decided to cook some homemade fish and chips for a fraction of the points, and it was all cooked in the air-fryer :).

THURSDAY:

Gym today - really enjoyed it, well as much as you can.... as I am only doing the bike and treadmill, I now watch Netflix while exercising and makes the time goes so much faster lol. I am also doing a couple of machines, doing lower body, I was tempted to try just a small upper body machine, but knew it would be bloody stupid so I didn't lol.

New World had a a 1 day special on Skinless Breasts, seeing as they are zero points I stocked up, they are all individually bagged and in the freezer now, and they come out so nice in the air-fryer :).

Weigh in next week, I will be happy with any loss after my huge loss this week.... David is off and he came with me to the supermarket, I bought a bacon and cheese scone for breakfast and bloody hell it was 19 points, wish I had checked it before I ate it lol. Oh well thank god Chicken Breast/Sweetcorn is zero points, guess whats for dinner lol.

Anyway thats it from me for today, catch you all in a couple of days :)

Tuesday 12 March 2019

Day 7 & 8 on WW & Week 1 Weigh In

MONDAY:

Today was the first day that I actually can say I enjoyed the gym, I left with a smile on my face and even the staff noticed it :). I am starting to get some fitness back, and am happy to push myself a little on the bike and treadmill.

Thats me giving it the thumbs up lol.  :)

The day ended well, well the week ended well

TUESDAY:

Today is weigh in, and am happy to say.... I lost 4.4 Kilos, yip you read it right 4.4 Kilos in a bloody week. Goes to show how much crap I had been eating previously - and I feel so much better about myself, physically and mentally.

Another good gym session, well as much as a gym session I can do at the moment, with only the bike and treadmill. I am not going to lie, my wrist/hand has been a little more sore yesterday/today, not sure if it si the gym or what. I just need to make sure I am careful.

Tomorrow is a gym free day :)

Anyway thats it for now, onwards and upwards - cant see anything exciting happening the rest of the day, so will sign of for now :)

Sunday 10 March 2019

Day 5 & 6 on WW

SATURDAY:

Yesterday ended well, even with takeaways, managed to fit it in my points comfortably.

This morning I did an unofficial weigh in, let's just say I was rather pleased with the results. I really didn't realise how much my portion sizes were out of control. I am still keeping towards the lower carb foods, but not having the fats. So far I have not felt hungry, but the weekends will be the telling time for me, I just need to keep busy, when I am feeling bored and want too munch.

The day ended really well, I did my nails when I started getting bored and that got me through. I even had bacon and eggs for breakfast, bacon in the air-fryer is so yummmmm.

Have I mentioned how much I love the air-fryer lol, we have used it nearly every night :).

SUNDAY:

Offical weigh in is Tuesday for me, after yesterdays unofficial weigh in, I am not going to jump on the scales until Tuesday :).

This morning for breakfast we had banana pancakes, I am finding I am really only have 2 meals a day, and to be honest, I am probably eating less carbs than when I was doing lower carbs (apart from the banana).

Today not much happening, I am finding I cant really drive or go in the car too far, cause the vibration tends to trigger the pain.

Tomorrow back to the gym.....

So a successful weekend - catch you on Tuesday after weigh in :).

Friday 8 March 2019

Day 3 & 4 on WW

THURSDAY:

Today I went to the gym, and boy I so didn't want to go, I did go though and proud of that, I added an extra minute on the bike and treadmill and then did a very small amount of lower body. I am going to go again tomorrow and that will be it for the week. I have decided to leave breakfast till lunch time as I was feeling a little nauseous after the gym, and dont want to throw up again.

I am also so tempted to weigh in, but trying to only weigh once a week, which is Tuesday.

Just finished lunch and feel ok, I did chicken breast (boneless and skinless) in a butter chicken sauce, it was yum. have no idea whats for dinner as David cooks tonight, but will work it in my points :).

Been watching a bit of Netflix lately, as I am limiting my clients and suppose to rest my hand/wrist, figure it would be a good time to catch up on some stuff. Have just finished Season 2 of 'Atypical', love that, 'Russian Dolls', 'Working Moms', 'You' and now watching 'Isn't it Romantic', I think I have watched more Netflix in the last couple of weeks, than the previous year lol.

Dinner worked out fine, we had chicken, peas, and kumera Fries, I made sure I had a breast and cooked it in the air-fryer with some herbs, it was bloody nice :).

Day ended really well :)

FRIDAY:

Did another gym session today, added another minute each on the bike and treadmill. I am actually starting to feel better already, the exercise (though it is limited), is doing me good both mentally and physically. Dont get me wrong I still struggle to get there but am proud that I have done 4 times this week. Once I get to 25 minutes each, I will stop adding minutes and start adjusting the speed etc.

Food wise, by keeping my portion sizes in control, I am feeling so much better as well, feeling less bloated, and heaps more energetic. I think for now WW is the right decision for me, I am carrying over points, tonight we are having takeaways (we always do on a Friday night), so am going to goggle what fits in my points.

The weekend will be a struggle for me, I know that already - but I will focus on one hour at a time.

I think I might just keep updating every second day, and put 2 days in 1 entry :).

Wednesday 6 March 2019

Wednesday Day 2 on WW....

Yay got the letter today for my appointment, I am seeing the specialist on April 10th, really hope surgery is not to long after that. I am over the pain, to be honest I am also scared the nerve pain will come back in full force.

Did not go to the gym today, Wednesday is housework day, with changing the sheets and other stuff. It hurts my hand/wrist so pace myself. Am planning the gym tomorrow again and Friday and that will be it for this week. I dont have any clients today or tomorrow, so will be nice to rest the hand/wrist for the day. Am loving the cooler nights, am able to wear my splint with out it being too hot and that in return helps so much with the pain.

Oh man every-time I cough, it hurst like buggery, think it has come from the vomiting yesterday.....

Day 1 on WW was a huge success, and so far today is going just as well. Though I am doing WW, I am still trying to keep my carbs on the lower side. Today for lunch, I had some shredded chicken and salad, and it was only 3 points for 150 grams chicken and it was quick and easy, this is the stuff I can have when I am 1 armed..... and David is at work.

Tonight for dinner we are having meat patties, sweetcorn and this potato thingee.

I am currently watching 600lb life, it keep's me motivated.....

The air fryer, OMG I love it most of the time, but the cleaning does my head in.... more so cause I only can really use 1 hand, and it takes so much room in the dishwasher...... yip first world problems :).

So thats it for today, well for now, am sure nothing else exciting is going to happen :).

Tuesday 5 March 2019

Monday/Tuesday and a little change......

MONDAY:

Yesterday I started back doing healthier/lower carb eating again...... I only went once to the gym last week and that was the Monday, today I went again - I did some lower body on just a couple of machines and did the bike and treadmill....

I cant fucking believe how I let myself go again, I have managed to gain 20 kilos from my lowest weight this time round again... everything I do is hard, standing, gym, cooking, putting on socks, tying up shoelaces, everything. I dont even remember eating 20 kilos of shit food, I have to keep going this time and not stop. There is no junk food in the house, just lower carb food and fruit and veges. Also cooking most things in the air-fryer.... steak comes out beautiful so does chicken nibbles, sweetcorn is amazing in it.

My wirst/hand is getting worse week by week, I am now down to doing 1 client a day, still waiting on an appointment ggggrrrrr, hopefully will get the letter this week.

I only have 1 client today, well thats all I can really do, without triggering to much pain.

TUESDAY:

Went to the gym again today, did the bike and treadmill.

Also rang up the clinic where I am getting my hand surgery, and should hear this week with an appointment, but she said it would be about 4 - 5 weeks away as the surgeon is away until mid March. It is still 2 months earlier than my previous appointment, but with Easter etc, I really dont expect an appointment till early May......

"Maybe TMI" - For breakfast this morning I had 2 slices of lower carb toast and 2 eggs, and as soon as I finished I proceeded to vomit it all up - have no idea why or what caused it. I know at the gym, I pushed it on the bike and treadmill, but didn't think I overdid it that much, but then I am so unfit.... hmmmmmmm.

Again I have only 1 client again today, and after this I am glad it is only 1 and not until 2pm.

I have been doing 2 days lower carb, but my portions are just to huge..... so this brings me onto what the fuck am I going to do......

I am going to try WW again, yip I know... tried it before and succeeded to lose nearly 30 Kilos a few years ago, then gained it all back plus some, Lower Carb, I have also lost 25 Kilos on it, but then proceeded it gain it all back again.... I need to stick with something and am going to sign up with WW for 4 months, that will bring me to after surgery and recovery, well the worst of the recovery anyway. Cause I know I am scared when for the first 6 weeks, I am not going to be allowed to do anything, and am not going to be able to do much in the way of cooking etc, will be only 1 armed for most of that time.... and am going to be out of control food wise as I will be sitting on my arse and probably just munching out on whatever is easy to open. I would have been on WW for about 6 - 8 weeks by then, so hoping I can keep some control of my portions by then.

So thats what has been happening with me....
